BIO:
Michael (Mike) Jones is a Chattanooga native and one of four adopted children. He graduated from Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (C.S.A.S.) in 2010 before attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Pre-Law concentration.
Michael received his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, he participated in the Ole Miss Law Street Law Clinic and Criminal Appeals Clinic, assisting indigent clients with family law, bankruptcy, Social Security, and criminal appeals matters. Following his second year of law school, Michael obtained a limited practice license while interning with the Nashville District Attorney's Office, where he assisted prosecutors in bench trials, jury trials, and various court hearings.
Michael is a Partner at Luther-Anderson, PLLP, where he has practiced since graduating from law school. His practice focuses on construction litigation, professional liability, real estate litigation, premises liability, automobile and motor carrier accidents, general tort liability defense, insurance coverage disputes, and workers' compensation matters. Michael is committed to providing practical legal advice, responsive client services, and vigorous advocacy. He has successfully represented clients through jury trials, dispositive motions, arbitration, mediation, and favorable settlements.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and his wife, Chloe, traveling, attending concerts and sporting events, working out and playing rec sports, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.
