Brittany E. Gilder

BIO:

Growing up on the Tennessee-Kentucky border, Brittany Gilder spent her childhood between Harrogate, TN, and Middlesboro, KY. Between earning her Associate of Arts from Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College and her Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Kentucky University, Brittany gained diverse experience in various fields. Her time as a federal contractor ultimately sparked her interest in pursuing a legal career focused on assisting individuals navigating administrative and judicial complexities.

Rooted in her Appalachian heritage and a strong sense of community, Brittany pursued her legal education at Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, TN, earning her Juris Doctorate. During law school, her commitment to protecting individual rights and liberties extended beyond participation as she actively led the organization of several pro bono and community service projects within groups focused on areas such as immigration, civil rights, and emerging legal fields like cyber and cannabis law, as well as advocacy through mock trial and anti-trafficking initiatives.

Prior to relocating to Chattanooga with her husband Michael and their two cats, Brittany gained experience advocating for individuals in civil suits as a private attorney. Since moving to the city, she has further developed her expertise in civil defense litigation, including serving as in-house counsel for a major healthcare provider before returning to her passion for litigation with the Luther-Anderson team.
